pokemon
pokemon has been one of my most favorite games (and shows!) ever since i was like super little!!! i have sword, ultra sun, x, and omega ruby but my fav of all time pokemon game is ultra sun!!!! i love love love the music and it brings back so many memories esp the iki town theme! and i actually really like hau and lillie and also solgaleo is actually like a badass tbh. this isn't the shows section buttt i had to mention xyz the show because it's actually INSANE it's so good. serena is literally my girl i love her so much in the games and ESPECIALLY the show!!! my favorite pokemon is glaceonn but i have to give special honorary mentions to goodra and sylveon (im a sucker for eevee evolutions...) go play all the games i love them YAAYYYA
animal crossing
I LOVE ANIMAL CROSSING!!! my baby boy erik is my favorite villager and baby girl second favorite villager is fauna and i love them both!!!!! i have them both on my new horizons island rn and they r legit the perfect pair. i also have beau and he fits right in tbh i love the ac deer..... i only have new horizons on switch but i love it a lot!! i used to have a 5 star island but i stopped playing and deleted it and now i have like a 2 star one and it's so mid actually but i have the cutest villagers ever so idc! ive also gotten like so into pocket camp rn because of fish and io soo yeah go play rn i recommend!!
splatoon
splatoon. arguably one of the most fun to play games ever tbh. everything about it is so smooth and like Fun to play and actually addicting tbh... plus the characters are SO CUTE mine's an octoling and i lovee her! also all of the band lore and general music is so cool and awesome and i love the idols!!! shiver's my absolute fav but i'm partial to callie and marina because they're all so CUTIE!! just gonna brag on myself now because i'm s+ tierrr (this could be a bad thing because i spent an insane amount of time getting it.) YAS go play rn it's really expensive but so worth it imo!!!!!

one of the hardest but most rewarding games i've ever played. also one of my favorites and a game that is very very close to my heart! theo and madeline have some of the most heartwrenching gorgeous stories and im ngl madeline's hits a teensy bit close to home for me and the anxiety gang. i love them both SO MUCH. also the farewell section made celeste hands down the hardest game i've ever played and beat which im actually proud of bc that chapter took me wayy too long dude. it also has some of the most beautiful music of any game ever and that's Not up for discussion because omfg! i listen to it wben i study and i highly recommend YUH GO PLAY IT RN IT'S REALLY REALLY GOOD
night in the woods
i cannot get through this goddamn game without crying. it takes the cake for one of the saddest games ive played because every SINGLE character has like the saddest backstory you've ever heard! angus is my baby boy and i go constellation watching with him every time since i figured out you could because i love him. mae and gregg are also cutiepies and the best friends ever and i LOVE THEM!! i'm also in love with the detail in the game because not only is there an INSANE amount of dialogue, but there are adorable side characters and a crazy amount of just little side things that u can do even though u don't have to (ie the sketchbook)!!! also the bass rythym game is addictive and i love it so much. overall an adorable and insanely heartwrenchingly sad story platformer choice WhateverItIs game. 10/10 GO PLAY IT RN!!!
detroit become human
dbh is an insane game for so many reasons. it not only has dozens of endings but also crazy adorable characters and crazier emotional storylines. my fav is my baby boy connor i LOVE HIM!! it's basic cause he's popular but i actually lov ehim so much.... bc dbh is a choice game it's possible for him to turn out like a really bad guy (or android i guess) but i love him anyways because he's adorable and funny and has the best winks on the planet. also i really love hank, kara, and luther (and sumo)!! the story is so good and it's kind of crazy to imagine that i haven't experienced even HALF of the endings, much less all of them. i haven't actually played it but i've watched like 3(?) playthroughs and definitely plan on playing it eventually because wow. i actually got introduced to it by fish but forgot about it LOL and refound it on my own later!! literally couldn't recommend it more!!!
deltarune
so i never actually played undertale, but i legit know deltarune like i know the back of my hand. i've put in Too much effort to get the regular endings for both chapters as well as beating jevil, pacifying jevil, beating spamton neo on the non-snowgrave route, and unfortunately doing the entire actual snowgrave route. my fav character is noelle so yeah snowgrave destroyed me a little and i felt HORRIBLE the entire time. but i'm so rooting for her and susie even if their relationship is. A teensybit unhealthy... sooososo excited to see more of my girl noelle and beat more ridiculously hard secret bosses in the next few chapters. also the game is actually hilarious and it's pretty rare that i actually laugh at games so yeah! the first 2 chapters r free so go try it out!!!
ori
ori is basically my first love when it comes to videogames. it was tbh a FANTASTIC one to start out with as well because it's not insanely difficult, it has a fantastic story (it made my 10yo self cry every single time i played it), and it's absolutely drop-dead GORGEOUS. i also love platformers and it combines platforming with story and fighting so so insanely well. i will say that the second game had an amazing improvement in the combat system though. honestly i was so so so happy when the second game game out like it made my whole year!!! and also the second game had so many more people to talk to and like. side quests and stuff which was ADORABLE. ugh i really need to replay these + u guys have to try them out!!!!
chil of light is actually such a beautifully written and executed game. my dad gave it to me in 4th grade i think (he never even played it but he NEEDS to omg)? and it's been one of my favorites ever since. it's a turn-based game, and i dont actually play those a lot other than pokemon, but i swear this game did it amazingly it also has a really unique art style that i really love and the main character aurora is just so sweet and i always love to see her journey and character development. also adorable side characters and plot twists that get me every timeee!! and obviously the most gorgeously written storyline ever. i just love all of the characters so much and i just love this game!!! u guys should go play it ASAP i recommend so much
